Where nature meets the streets.
Diego Palencia is a contemporary artist from Guatemala whose work is driven by emotion, movement, memory, and the raw beauty of creation itself. Rooted in both nature and urban culture, Diego blends contrasting worlds into a unique visual language — where vibrant color, abstract expression, and organic energy meet the bold spirit of the streets.
Growing up surrounded by the richness of Guatemalan landscapes and the pulse of city life, Diego developed an artistic identity shaped by duality: calm and chaos, structure and freedom, nature and concrete, silence and expression.
His background in graffiti introduced him to fearless creativity, spontaneity, and the power of visual impact. At the same time, his deep admiration for nature continues to inspire softer rhythms, flowing forms, and emotional depth.

Acrylic, instinct, and improvised tools.
Diego's preferred mediums are acrylic paint and canvas — but his process is built on experimentation. Brushes one day. Wooden sticks the next. Plastic, chopsticks, custom mark-making tools, mixed techniques.
Tools are simply extensions of creativity. Every surface offers possibility.

Every artwork begins with feeling.
