About the work
A powerful abstract portrait merging the human form with the living energy of a tree. Warm reds, earthy greens, and flowing strokes create a figure that breathes from the canvas — somewhere between man and forest, between memory and growth.
“This piece began with a memory of walking through the Guatemalan highlands at dusk. The trees felt alive — like they had faces, stories, voices. I wanted to paint that feeling.”
